  • Skills Required: 2-3 years of hands-on experience in video editing software such as DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop. Knowledge of audio editing, colour correction and green screen footage edits is a plus Ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Footage Review and Selection: Reviewing raw footage and selecting the best takes or segments that align with the project’s vision and objectives.
  • Editing and Sequencing: Using editing software (such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve) to assemble raw footage into a coherent and compelling story, ensuring smooth transitions, proper sequencing, and pacing.

  • Skills Required:  Proven experience (1-3 years) as a content writer, with excellent writing and editing skills, with a flair for creating clear, concise, and engaging script.
  • Languages: English (Mandate), Hindi (Preferred), Rajasthani (Preferred)
  • Concept Development: Brainstorming and developing original ideas or adapting existing material into screenplay format suitable for film or television.
  • Scriptwriting: Crafting engaging narratives, character development, dialogues, and plot that resonate with the target audience while adhering to the production house’s vision and guidelines.
  • Collaboration: Working closely with directors, producers, and other creative team members to translate concepts into scripts that meet the artistic, creative vision and logistical needs of the project
  • Research: Conducting thorough research to ensure accuracy and authenticity in storytelling, especially for scripts requiring historical, scientific, technical, or specialized knowledge.
  • Revisions and Rewrites: Being open to feedback and revising scripts based on input from directors, producers, or script editors to improve story elements, character arcs, pacing that enhance the overall quality of the story.
  • Continuity: Ensuring consistency in characters, plotlines, themes, and storylines throughout the script to maintain coherence in the final film.
  • Industry Awareness: Keeping up-to-date with industry trends, audience preferences, and market demands to create scripts that resonate with contemporary audiences, current tastes and expectations.
  • Collaborative Networking: Building relationships with other writers, industry professionals, attending industry events, and collaborating with other writers or professionals to enhance script development and opportunities.
  • Pitching and Presentations: Participating in pitch meetings or presentations to pitch new script ideas or discuss script revisions with potential investors, producers, or studios executives.
  • Meeting Deadlines: Working within established timelines and schedules to deliver scripts on time for various production phases.
  • Adaptability: Adapting scripts to changes during pre-production, production, or post-production while maintaining the integrity of the story.

The Video Editor and Videographer Intern will assist in all aspects of video production including filming, editing, and producing videos for Dhruv Records online and social media presence. The intern will closely work with the team to ensure high-quality video content for Dhruv Records clients.

Job Responsibilities

  • Experience in video production, including filming, editing, and producing videos.
  • Proficiency in video editing software such as DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and After Effects.
  • Experience in operating cinema cameras and lighting equipment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team to meet project objectives.
  • Working knowledge of social media platforms and trends, and experience creating content for social media strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in Film Media, Communications or related fields.
  • Provide support to Director, Producer, and Editor and other duties, as assigned.

Required:

  • Proficient in Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final cut pro, Video Editing, Aesthetic sense, Video producing, Visual Sense, Audio Sense, Attention to details, Asset Management.
  • Have your own Laptop for basic work.
  • Proven problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills.
